Adeline A. Hellpap, nee Rosin, age 87, of West Bend, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
She was born on July 27, 1924, in Mayville, to the late Henry and Sadie (nee Westphal) Rosin. On February 1, 1947, Adeline was united in marriage to Lawrence Hellpap at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend. Lawrence preceded her in death in August of 1989.
Adeline was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, and coordinated the hot lunch program at St. John's School for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and spending time with her family.
Adeline is survived by seven children, Donna Quartuccio of Pewaukee, Gordon (Barbara) Hellpap of Oshkosh, Wanda (David) Bittner of Bemidji, MN, Diane (special friend Jeff) Walters of West Bend, Bonnie (Jim) Propson of Kohlsville, Larry (Teresa) Hellpap of West Bend, and Betty Hellpap of Fond du Lac, 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Arlene Wagner of West Bend, Lyles Ojsterek of Allenton, and Helen (Arnold) Gloede of Campbellsport; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; granddaughter, Holly Hellpap; great-granddaughter, Nina Quartuccio; son-in-law, Robert Walters; two sisters, Jeanette Deming and Vera Rosin; three brothers, Henry, Donald and Gordon; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services in remembrance of Adeline will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 12:00 noon at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 809 S. 6th Avenue, West Bend. Rev. Jeff Dorth and Vicar David Kellerman will co-officiate. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
