Adeline D. Bath, 83, of Kewaskum, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 22, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital in the town of Polk.
She was born on December 4, 1930, in the town of Osceola, the daughter of the late Frank F. and Lorena (Heider) Kutz, and on August 26, 1950, she was united in marriage to Harold Bath at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Harold preceded Adeline in death on February 2, 2006.
Adeline was employed by the West Bend Company in West Bend from many years and later at The Threshold in West Bend for over 25 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
She enjoyed playing cards, especially Uno, gardening, dancing with Harold, bowling in her younger years and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Adeline will fondly be remembered for her sense of humor, her giving nature, as a grateful person and as one who enjoyed a beer now and then. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all who knew her.
Those Adeline leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Steven Bath of the town of Auburn, Connie (Rich) Marks of Germantown and Debbie (Ray) Duenkel of Kewaskum; a son-in-law, Ralph Seefeld of the town of Auburn; two brothers, Frank (Paula) Kutz of Kewaskum and Sylvester (Joan) Dettmann of West Bend; a sister, Amanda Lohse of Sheboygan; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kutz of West Bend; ten grandchildren, Michelle (Nick) Walters, Christina (Patrick) Janesch, Mark Jaycox Jr., Jeremy (Holly) Jaycox, Jenny (Tim) Howell, Brenda (Joe) Myers, Stephanie (Wes) Keys, Jonathan Walters, Melissa (Ryan) Healy and Matthew Shoppach; 16 great-grandchildren, William and Damarion Walters, Samantha, Melinda and Kimberly Janesch, Jillian, Mark, Sophia and Edison Jaycox, Jeremiah and Isabelle Jaycox, Damian and Desiree Keys, Gregory and Joseph Howell and Kaylee Myers, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Adeline was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Seefeld; a son-in-law, Mark Jaycox Sr.; a great-grandson, Jeffrey Walters; a brother, Wilbert Kutz; an infant sister, Lillian Kutz and a sister, Irene Lauters.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Adeline was held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Father Neil Zinthefer officiated and cremation followed the traditional service. Burial of her cremains were in the parish cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28.
The Bath family greeted relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Adeline's arrangements.
