Adolph "Al" Wiesmueller, age 75, of West Bend passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Cedar Ridge surrounded by his loving family.
Al is survived by his wife, Geri; five children, Judy (Phil) Keefe, Mary (Rick) Henrichs, Pam (Greg) Johns, Diane (William) Beaman and Sandy (Rob) Bernard; 12 grandchildren, Matthew (Angie) Keefe, Ashley Keefe, Christopher (Ali) Henrichs, Corey (Rob) Bugar, Anna Henrichs, Melissa Henrichs, Theresa Henrichs, Becki (Dale) VanKeuren, Andy Johns, Jeremy Ritzel, Neil and John Sorger; seven great-grandchildren, Ayla Keefe, Sam Henrichs, Dayton Bugar, Jaelyn and Rylee VanKeuren, Angelo Sorger and Frankie Paige; his brother, Jerry (Carol) Wiesmueller and his family; many relatives and close friends.
He was born on September 29, 1933 in Milwaukee to the late Adolph and Helen (nee Eschrich) Wiesmueller. On November 15, 1952, Al was united in marriage to Geri Magin in Milwaukee. Al worked for Wisconsin Electric as a carpenter for many years. His family and friends both here in Wisconsin and in Florida always came first to Al. He enjoyed pigeon racing with the Cream City Flying Club as well as camping, biking, running, and golfing.
Funeral services in remembrance of Al will be held on Thursday, October 1st at Pilgrim Lutheran Church (462 Meadowbrook Drive) West Bend at 11:00 am with Rev. Joe Fisher officiating and Rev. Christopher Raffa assisting. Visitation will be at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington Street) West Bend on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm and again on Thursday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the services. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
Memorials to Pilgrim Lutheran Church or Cedar Community Hospice in Al's name are appreciated by the family.
