Alice Lavina Donoghue (nee Flint), age 86, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend.
Alice was born on October 19, 1928, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, to the late George and Astrid (nee Swanson) Flint. Alice loved road trips, meeting new people and life; she always had a smile for everyone she met.
Alice is survived by her three children, Sheila Donoghue of West Allis, Aleta (Robert) Boehm of Campbellsport, and Kevin (Cathy) Donoghue of Bremerton, WA; three grandchildren, Kyle and Jennifer Boehm of Milwaukee and Kaelab May of Bremerton, WA; two sisters, Clara Mae Scrivner of Browntown, WI, and Nona Ann (Bill) Schreiber of Rice Lake, WI; and two brothers, Robert Flint of Stanley, WI, and Dale (Kathy) Flint of Phoenix, AZ; other relatives and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Jean; two brothers, George Jr. and Alvin.
Memorials to The Kathy Hospice in West Bend are appreciated by the family.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the nursing staff at The Kathy Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to their mother and grandmother. Private family services will be held at a later date; burial to be at the Riverside Cemetery in Ladysmith, Wisconsin.
