Allan J. Hoeser, 65, of West Bend, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 23, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
He was born on March 18, 1941, in Loyal the son of Joseph and Frieda (Putzel) Hoeser, and on September 20, 1969, he was united in marriage to JoAnn Brodzeller at Immaculate Conception St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Barton.
Al was a 1959 graduate of Loyal High School and attended U.W. River Falls. He served his country in the U. S. Army for four years, and retired from Avaya “ATT” Phone Company in 2005 after 34 years of service. Al was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend.
Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, JoAnn; three daughters, Michelle (Scott) Fleischmann and Stephanie (Josh) Hamm both of West Bend and Jenny (Kevin) Wills of Slinger; his mother, Frieda Hoeser of Loyal; four brothers, Clyde (Donna) Hoeser of Janesville, Fr. Jerome Hoeser of EauGalle, Dennis (Gayl) Hoeser of Madison and Thomas (Monica) Hoeser of Newman Lake, Washington; two sisters, Sandra Hoeser of Fort Worth, Texas and Therese Hoeser of Loyal; two grandchildren, Thomas and Abigail Fleischmann, other relatives and friends.
Al was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Al was held on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. Seventh Avenue, West Bend, following a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum.
Father Jerome Hoeser officiated and inurnment, with military graveside rites, was at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in the town of Barton.
Relatives and friends called on Sunday at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the prayer service at 6:45 p.m.
