Allen Henry William Schulz, age 81, of the town of Wayne, was called home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in the town of West Bend with his family by his side.
Allen was born on May 12, 1933 on the family homestead farm in the town of Wayne to the late Rudolf and Vinelda (nee Kirchner) Schulz. He was baptized into the Lutheran faith on June 11, 1933 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in the town of Wayne and later confirmed his faith through his Confirmation on April 14, 1946.

During the Korean Conflict, Allen proudly served his country in the United States Army as part of the130th Infantry Regiment, Fort Lewis, Washington. Following his service, Allen's love of farming, land, and animals lead him back to the family farm where he spent the remainder of his career. On April 12, 1958 Allen was united in marriage to Patricia Ann "Patsy" Giese at Zion Lutheran Church, Theresa. They were blessed to serve each other for 54 years.
Allen was a life-long dedicated member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Wayne, where he served on the church council. He was a charter member of the Wayne Crusaders 4-H Club, and a member of the Wayne Wrangler Horse Club. He served on the Wayne School Board, dedicated to providing a new grade school in the Town of Wayne. Allen was an active member of the Kohlsville Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years. Allen enjoyed snowmobiling and was a pioneer member of the Kohlsville Kruisers and the Kewaskum Snow Chiefs snowmobile clubs. Allen loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sporting events. He also enjoyed being "Grandpa" to the children at Zion's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. He loved talking to people and took the time to get to know them. Allen practiced his love of his fellow neighbor with a kind gesture or a hand on the shoulder to let them know that he cared.
