Alma L. Habeck, nee Shepherd, age 87, of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in the Town of West Bend.
She was born on January 4, 1928 in Wauwatosa. On June 21, 1952, Alma was united in marriage to Donald Habeck at Emmanuel Ev. United Brotheran Church in Jefferson.
Alma was employed at St. Joseph's Community Hospital in West Bend for many years. She enjoyed playing the organ for several area churches and also taught piano.
Alma is survived by two sons, Donald (Beverly) Habeck of Hartland and Darryl Habeck of West Bend; three grandchildren, Carrie Anne (Mark) Van Dehy, Tracy (Bob) Bowie, and Corey Habeck; one great-granddaughter, Tessa Bowie; other relatives and friends.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Orrin and Alice Shepherd, her husband, Donald, and granddaughter, Jennifer Habeck.
Visitation in remembrance of Alma will be held on Thursday, February 26 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home; 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Burial will be in Buffalo Trinity Cemetery in the Town of Kewaskum on Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Memorials in Alma's name will be designated to an appropriate charity at a later date.
