Amy V. Schreiber, (nee Webb), age 91, of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in the town of West Bend.
Amy was born on December 5, 1922 in Elmwood, Wisconsin to the late Clark and Evelyn (nee Stockman) Webb. She graduated from Roberts Union High School and went on to study Elementary Education at River Falls S.T.C. Amy eventually earned her B.A. in education at Carroll College in Waukesha. Through out her career, Amy had the opportunity to teach in Kiel, West Bend, Wauwatosa, New Berlin, and Waukesha school districts. Amy was united in marriage to Herbert Schreiber on March 9, 1946 in Kiel, Wisconsin.
Amy is survived by her loving husband, Herb of West Bend; her two daughters, Lynne Schreiber of Church Hill, TN and Margaret Schreiber of Kanab, UT; a granddaughter, Sarah (Mike) Allen Dallas, TX; a great-granddaughter, Leah Allen Dallas, TX; a brother, Allen (Barbara) Webb of Eau Claire, WI; a sister, Pat Hetland of Appleton; and many other relatives and friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Evelyn Webb; and her sister, Lois (William) Van Ells.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Kiel Municipal Cemetery in Kiel.
