Amy J. Sweet, 58, of Lomira, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
She was born on June 21, 1956, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Lawrence and Gwenneth (Thede) Hinz, and at the time of her death was working as the church secretary at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira.
Amy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lomira and was an active member of area community theatres and animal rescue programs, especially for dogs.
Those Amy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her mother, Gwenneth; three brothers, David (Suzanne) Hinz of West Bend, Ward (Jeanne) Hinz of Fond du Lac and Paul (Becky) Hinz of Eau Claire; a sister-in-law, Renee Millwood of Birchwood; six nieces and nephews, Ryan, Bailey, Ben, Mitchel, Rick and Jacqueline Hinz, other relatives and many friends.
Amy was preceded in death by her father and a brother, John Hinz.
A Memorial Service for Amy will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 300 Church Street in Lomira with Rev. Kerry Wilson officiating. A time of gathering and a continued celebration of Amy’s life will follow the memorial service.
The Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira has been entrusted with Amy’s arrangements.
