Angeline Bruendl, 97, of West Bend, entered her heavenly home on January 25, 2018, at The Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk.
Angeline was born on October 2, 1920, in the town of Calamus, to the late Raymond and Mary (nee Popa) Tadych and on October 2, 1941, she was united in marriage to Alvin Bruendl at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Alvin preceded Angeline in death on April 16, 2012.
Angeline was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She enjoyed baking, spending time with family, and traveling with her husband Alvin. Angeline had a strong faith and was a past member of the Christian Mother’s at St. Mary’s in West Bend.
Those Angeline leaves behind to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kathleen (David Ritter) Vaughan of West Bend; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Stan (Carol) Tadych of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Angeline was preceded in death by her children, Patricia (Elroy) Arndt and Ronald Bruendl; a son-in-law, James Vaughan; a sister, Margie (Eddie) Fabert; two brothers-in-law, George (Marcella & Ann) Bruendl and Viol (Carol) Bruendl; two sisters-in-law, Florence (Vic) Wollner and Lorraine (Earl) Zimdars, and her parents-in-law, John and Mary Bruendl.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Angeline will be held at Noon, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception, 1610 Monroe Street, in West Bend with Rev. Pat Wendt officiating. Entombment will follow the Mass at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
The Bruendl family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Herdrich, St. Joseph’s Hospital, The Kathy Hospice, and the Staff at Tri-Manor for the wonderful care they provided to Angeline. A special thanks to Fr. Pat, Fr. Nate, Mrs. Dolores Palash, and her son Steve Palash for the many visits they had to see Angeline.
