Anita C. Multhauf, (nee Schultz), age 93, a life long resident of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
She was born on February 19, 1915 in West Bend to the late Fred and Meta (nee Lemke) Schultz. Growing up Anita attended school in West Bend and graduated from the West Bend High School in 1933. On January 16, 1943 she was united in marriage to Albert "Mully" Multhauf in West Bend. Anita enjoyed bowling and was captain of her bowling league for many years. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge in West Bend and was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church her entire life.
Anita is survived by her two children, John (Patricia) Multhauf of San Antonio, TX, and Susan (Ken) Charlton of Eden. She is further survived by 7 grandchildren, Jennifer (Quinn) Schmitt of Woodbury, MN, Adam (Jesse) Multhauf of Marietta, GA, David (Shannon) Multhauf of West Bend, Christopher (Sharlene) Richards of San Antonio, TX, Tamara Watts of San Antonio, TX, Andy Charlton of Fond du Lac, and Brenda Charlton of Fond du Lac; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert, her brother Fred Schultz, and her sister Wilma Snavely.
A funeral service in honor of Anita will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 12:00 pm (noon) at Trinity Lutheran Church (140 N. 7th Ave. West Bend). Rev. David Schoob will officiate. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, West Bend.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
