Ann “Annie” M. Krahn (nee Sullivan), 75, of Beechwood passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 7, 2018 at her home.
She was born on April 21, 1943 to the late Elmer and Marcella (nee Heinecke) Sullivan in West Bend. Annie graduated from West Bend High School. On November 6, 1965 she was united in marriage to Eugene Krahn at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend. She worked as a factory worker for 50 years at the Amity Leather in West Bend until retirement. Annie and Eugene loved to go up north to their trailer in Wild Rose and enjoyed snowmobiling. They were charter members of the Night Fliers Snowmobile club of Beechwood and she served as secretary for many years. Annie enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, putting puzzles together and doing Sudoku, and playing cards with her friends Frank and Elaine. She was also starting to crochet baby blankets for charity. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Those Annie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 53 years, Eugene Krahn; brothers and sisters-in law, Doris Krahn of Beechwood, Shirley Mull of West Allis, Ellis Krahn of Beechwood, Eleanor (Syl) Stern of West Bend, Wesley (Sandy) Krahn of Arizona, Donna Wimmer of North Carolina, Sylvester (Jean) Krahn of Beechwood, Neil (Barb) Krahn of Kansas City, MO., Karen (Ray) Borchert of Arizona, and Dianna Bellin of Florida; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother James Sullivan; father and mother-in-law, Ervin and Marie Krahn; three brothers-in-law, Adrian Krahn, Gaylord Krahn, and infant Ronald Krahn; and two sisters-in-law, Marjorie Krahn and Monica Krahn.
A funeral service in remembrance of Annie will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at New Horizon United Church of Christ, 9663 State Hwy 144, Kewaskum.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association or to the Cancer Society in Annie’s name is appreciated by the family.
