Anna A. Reindl

September 16, 1917 — January 21, 2007

Anna A. Reindl, 89, of Kewaskum, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2007, surrounded by her children at River Way Place in West Bend.


She was born on September 16, 1917, in St. Kilian, the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Peter) Felix, and on June 25, 1940, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Reindl at St. Kilian Catholic Church in St. Kilian. Her husband preceded her on March 26, 2000.


Anna was employed at the West Bend Company for over 25 years.


She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, the Christian Women, the Young at Heart, XYZ Senior Group in Kewaskum and the Homemakers Country Cousins.


Survivors include four children, Robert J. Reindl of Brookfield, Michael (Debby) Reindl of West Bend, Dorothy (Bernie) Barth of Newburg and Mary (Kenneth) Kraus of Germantown; a sister, Catherine (Edward) Hawig of the town of Wayne; seven grandchildren, Terri (Craig) Sanborn, Janet (Terry) Stockhausen, Dianne (Greg) Rinn, Tony (Kelly) Barth, Cheryl (Robert) Leissring, Lisa (Michael) Mohr and Luke Reindl, 17 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.


In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Felix, Mary Heiting and Rose Felix; five brothers, John, Leo, Alphonse, Kilian and Frank Felix and a great-granddaughter, Rebecca Stockhausen.


A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna was held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in the parish cemetery.


Relatives and friends called on Thursday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.


The family would like to extend a thank you to Vitas Hospice for their care this past week. Also a very special thank you to all the loving and compassionate care givers at River Way Place. You truly were her extended family.
