Anna J. Tillou, (nee Hisel), of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the age of 89.
She was born in Bloom City, Wisconsin on June 11, 1919 to Ernest and Myrtle (nee Boyer) Hisel. Anna was united in marriage to Charles A. Tillou on February 15, 1936. Together they became members of the First Church of Nazarene in West Bend. Anna worked for the West Bend Company for 28 and a half years before retiring in 1981. She was a proud member of the West Bend Company's Twenty Five Year Club.
Anna is survived by her five children, Jean (Roland) Bergmann of Medford, Basel (Phyllis) Tillou of Oshkosh, Dannie (Clara) Tillou of Eden, Alvis (Louise) Tillou of West Bend, and Avis (Gregory) Simons of West Bend. She is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other dear relatives and close friends. She was a special mother to Ralph and Terri Miller and their family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles in 1992, her grandson Jeffery Tillou in 2006, and her brothers and sisters.
A funeral service in honor of Anna will be held on Sunday, June 22, at 7:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Rev. Lance Trussell will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Graveside services will be held at Bear Creek Cemetery in La Farge on Monday, June 23, at 11:00 am.
