Annette J. “Annie” Stommel, 46, of Kewaskum, found peace on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the Pavilion of Glacier Valley in Slinger.
Annie was born on January 31, 1970, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Arnold and Vivian (Clark) Stommel. She graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1988 and then went on to culinary school at Moraine Park Technical College. She had a passion for being creative in the kitchen and cooking for all of her friends and family. Annie was employed by numerous places as a cook. She enjoyed her dog, Shelly, gardening, all kinds of flowers, and her Green Bay Packers, especially Clay Matthews.
Those Annie leaves behind to cherish her memory include her mother, Vivian Stommel of Kewaskum, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Annie was preceded in death by her father, Arnold “Arnie” Stommel; her paternal grandparents, Claude and Frieda Stommel; her maternal grandparents, James and Marcella Clark; her godmother and her aunt, Judy Wagner.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Annie will be held at Noon on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church (N1271 Minnie Lane/Highway 67) in Ashford. Father John Radetski will officiate and cremation will follow the traditional service.
Annie’s family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
