Anthony Cross

Anthony “Tony” A. Cross, 49, of West Bend passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, July 11, 2022.

He was born on July 20, 1972 to Roger and Sandra (nee Govin) Cross in West Bend, WI. Tony grew up on Big Cedar Lake, and still cherished the memories of all his childhood days and friends from there. He graduated from West Bend East High School where he met his soul mate, Wendy. On June 3, 1995 he was united in marriage to Wendy Watry. Tony worked at West Bend Furniture & Design as a Furniture Technician and Warehouse Manager for over 25 years and considered everyone there his family as well. He had been a member of the Saukville Gun Club, where he and his best shooting partner, his dad, spent many fun times together. Tony loved the outdoors, hunting, shooting sports, and was an avid kayak fisherman. His family was his whole life, Wendy and his three beautiful girls. They will forever cherish his sense of humor and crazy attitude. Tony will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Those Tony leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Wendy Cross; his three girls, Kelsey (Patrick) Krier, Kendra Cross, and Cassandra Cross; his mother, Sandra Cross; a sister, Tammy Allar; his mother-in-law, Ramona Watry; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Frank) Cisek and Diane (Mike) Kent; two brothers-in-law, Allen (Karen) Watry and John (Liz) Watry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Tony in preceded in death by his father, Roger Cross; his father-in-law, Sylvin Watry; and a brother-in-law, Larry Watry.

A Celebration of Life visitation in remembrance of Tony will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315, W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family would like to thank all the dedicated staff at the Froedtert Clinical Cancer Centers in Milwaukee and West Bend for all their help and care during his two-year cancer battle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are greatly appreciated.
