Arlene N. Cypher, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Hawthorn Manor in West Bend, Wisconsin.
She was born on March 29, 1930 to Paul and Inez (nee Iams) Cypher. Growing up, Arlene attended Golden Oak School, Holy Angels School, and the West Bend High School. Arlene was a secretary at the West Bend High School and B.C. Ziegler and Co. She later worked part-time as a secretary for Washington County. Arlene took many classes at the University of Wisconsin-Washington County. She dedicated her life to helping 4-H youth for 60 plus years by being a 4-H leader with the Good Luck 4-H Club. In her younger years Arlene traveled to many places including a trip to Europe with the People to People group who she enjoyed attending reunions with.
Arlene is survived by a sister, Luella Schutte of Dodgeville; a brother-in-law, Vern Eulert of West Bend; four nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Inez Cypher; and her sister Sharyn Eulert.
A visitation in honor of Arlene will be held at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St. West Bend) on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 4 pm until 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Angels Catholic Church at 11 am on Monday, March 30, 2015. Burial will follow the mass in Holy Angels Cemetery.
