Arlyne Pierce, nee Christian, age 91, of the town of Polk, died on Friday, January 16, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.
She was born on April 30, 1923, in the town of Herman, Dodge County, to the late John and Adela (nee Milbrot) Christian. She married Lawrence W. Pierce on October 4, 1947. They resided in River Hills until 1973, when they moved to McNaughton.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Slinger. She enjoyed her family, friends, and her home and garden on the lake.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Norma.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church (W630 Church Rd. and Hwy. 33) in the town of Herman, with the Rev. James Castillo officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Newbold Cemetery in the town of Newbold, near Rhinelander.
