Arthur O. Puestow Jr., age 72, of the Town of Barton, passed away Monday August 6, 2007 at Ivy Manor in Jackson.
He was born on April 15, 1935 on the family farm in the Town of Barton to the late Arthur R. and Edna (nee Wickert) Puestow Sr.
Arthur attended West Bend Schools, and served in the United States Army from 1958 through 1960. After his discharge he returned to the farm and operated it with his brother until his retirement.
Arthur enjoyed a good hand of sheepshead and driving his ford tractor.
He is survived by two sisters, Florence (Melvin) Mueller of Kiel, and Lucille (Clyde) Crass of West Bend; two brothers, Robert "Dusty" Puestow of the Town of Barton, and Roman (Lorraine) Puestow of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Elva Puestow of Cedarburg, and Gwendolyn Puestow of West Bend; a nephew, Steve (Patricia) Puestow of Jackson, and their children, Carolyn, Benjamin, and Generose; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Lester, Arnold, and Melvin.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday August 9th at 3:30 pm in Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, West Bend, on Thursday August 9th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Memorials to the charity of your choice are appreciated.
