Arthur A. Sepersky, age 90, of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at The Kathy Hospice in the Town of Polk.
He was born on November 27, 1921 in Milwaukee to the late Arthur and Hildegard (nee Wickert) Sepersky. He moved to West Bend with his family at an early age. Art attended Barton grade school and graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1940. On August 2, 1952, Art was united in marriage to Edna Schaefer at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum. Together they owned and operated Lighthouse Lanes, retiring in 1982, although Art kept on working for his son, Mike.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, as well as a member and past president of the Wisconsin Bowling Proprietor's Association. He sponsored many softball teams. In in his spare time, Art enjoyed golfing and high school baseball.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Sepersky of West Bend; daughter-in-law, Rita Sepersky of West Bend; two grandchildren, Chris (Ann) Sepersky of Franklin, and Matthew (Kati) Sepersky of Wausau; six great-granddaughters, Maggie, Katherine, Abby, Zoe, Lynn, and Ava; brother, Earle (Jeanne) Sepersky of Scottsdale, AZ; sister-in-law, Evelyn Albert of Horicon; three nieces, Helen (Theodore) Haasch, Kristine Deiss, and Mary Gumm; three nephews, William Albert, Robert (Linda) Schaefer, and Michael Sepersky; other relatives and friends.
Art was preceded in death by his son, Michael; three sisters and their spouses, Audrey (Carl) Mayer, Shirley (Charles) Cox, and Betty (Merlin) Graff; and a nephew, Scotty Sepersky.
A private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13th at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, with Rev. David Schoob of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
