Audrey E. Bartelt Jaraczewski, 86, of Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007, at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend.
She was born on July 5, 1920, in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late Ervin and Mabel (Koerble) Koch, and on May 31, 1941, she was united in marriage to Willard Bartelt at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum. Her husband preceded her in death on October 21, 1976. On December 3, 1977, Audrey was united in marriage to Arthur Jaraczewski at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Arthur preceded Audrey in death on July 30, 1994.
Audrey was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. She was also a member of the Hon-E-Kor Ladies Wednesday League and a six-time club champion. Audrey was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed traveling and was an accomplished bowler.
Survivors include two children, Thomas (Mitzie) Bartelt of West Bend and Peggy Ann (Jeffrey) Ramel of Kewaskum; a sister, Janice Honeck of Kewaskum; four stepdaughters, Janet (Ron) Buettner, Kathleen (Wayne) Blaszczyk, Margaret Karl and Barbara (Gene) Bongard all of the Milwaukee area; six grandchildren, Jacqueline (Kevin) Bartelt Logan, Brad (Thresa) Bartelt, Ross (Anneka Chen) Bartelt, Erin (Jon) Nass, Joshua Ramel and Sara Ramel; eight great-grandchildren, Oscar, Sophia, Emilia and Ethan Logan, Garrett, Neil, Brent and Rachel Bartelt, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Audrey was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Kilian Honeck, Jr.
Funeral services for Audrey were held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive, Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and burial followed in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called on Saturday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
