Audrey E. Mckenna

Audrey E. McKenna, age 73, of Kewaskum, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.


She was born on March 16, 1933 in Decada, the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Arendt) Lamb, and on October 31, 1959, she was united in marriage to Roger McKenna at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Decada.


Prior to her marriage, Audrey was employed by the Ozaukee County Superintendent's Office. Audrey was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Kewaskum, an active member of the Holy Trinity Christian Women and the St. Lawrence Seminary Parents Guild in Mt. Calvary.

Audrey enjoyed volunteering and was a volunteer at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend for many years. She was an avid sheepshead player and also enjoyed bowling and gardening.


Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Roger; four children, Patrick (Marie) McKenna and Michael McKenna both of West Bend, Shawn McKenna of Milwaukee and Bridget (Patrick) Foley of Green Bay; a grandson, Matthew McKenna; three sisters, Muriel Biwan of Sheboygan, Geraldine (Kenneth) Steffen of DePere and Lois (William) Greisch of Port Washington; a sister-in-law, Charlotte Lamb of Sheboygan, other relatives and friends.


She was preceded in death by a son, Brian John; a sister, Shirley Lamb; two brothers, Jack and James Lamb and a brother-in-law, Carl Biwan.


A Mass of Christian Burial for Audrey was held on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, Kewaskum, following a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Fr. Elroy Pesch O.F.M. Cap. officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the parish cemetery.


Relatives and friends called on Friday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. prayer service.


In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Trinity Parish or St. Lawrence Seminary, Mt. Calvary are appreciated.
