Barbara A. “Barb” Janiszewski, 84, of West Bend, passed away on November 3, 2024, at Froedtert West Bend Hospital.
Barb was born on April 28, 1940, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Edward and Bernice (nee Treznewski) Padol. On August 6, 1960, she was united in marriage to Norbert Janiszewski at St. Adalberts Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Norbert preceded Barb in death on October 14, 2010. Barb’s entire world revolved around her children and grandchildren; she truly was the epitome of a wonderful mom and grandmother. She filled their lives with joy, taking them to basketball games, rollerblading, swimming, and engaging in imaginative dress-up adventures. Her grandkids cherish her memory as the most loving and kind-hearted person imaginable. Barb was not just fun; she was deeply involved in their lives, making every moment spent together special and unforgettable.
Those Barb leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Christopher (Liz) Janiszewski, Karin (Andy) Kaczmarek, Joy (Christopher) Bales, and Jon (JoEllen) Janiszewski; eight grandchildren, Elise Janiszewski, Christopher Janiszewski, Nicole Janiszewski, Jesse (Kyle) Sieracki – Staehler, Logan Groll, Cole Groll, Benjamin Janiszewski, and Erin Janiszewski; her first great-grandchild on the way; a brother, Edward Padol; other relatives and friends.
In tribute to Barb’s wishes, the family will hold private services. To those in the community who knew her, Barb was a truly gentle and loving spirit. Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the kindness and support shown to Barb throughout her life.
