Beatrice "Bea" Landvatter

July 30, 1927 — November 4, 2010

Beatrice "Bea" A. Landvatter, nee Hafemann, age 83, of West Bend, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.

She was born on July 30, 1927 in Kewaskum to the late Carl and Meta (nee Johann) Hafemann. Bea graduated from Kewaskum High School in the class of 1945. On June 29, 1946, she was united in marriage to Edwin "Bud" Landvatter at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Bud preceded her in death on January 4, 1989.

Bea was a woman of deep Christian faith whose greatest pleasure was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She especially enjoyed time spent with family and friends, of which she had many.

Bea worked many jobs over the years: 10 years at White House Milk Company, seven years at West Bend News, as well as at Amity Corporation, the West Bend Company, Sentry Foods and Serigraph.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Royal Neighbors of America and Women of the Moose in West Bend.

Bea is survived by her son, Bill (Karen) Landvatter of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Laura (Pat) Stafford, Paul (Patricia) Landvatter, Penny (Shannon) Haas, Haley (Kirk) Hemmen, Marnie Landvatter, Molly Roell and Margo Roell; four great-grandchildren, Samantha Stafford, Jakob Stafford, Nathan Stafford and Charles Landvatter; a sister, Arnita Berard of Milwaukee; a son-in-law, Bobby Roell of West Bend, a daughter-in-law, Joy (Rick) Reeves of Waupaca; a brother-in-law, John Landvatter of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Graff of West Bend, and Doris Hafemann of Bayfield; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud; a daughter, Janet Roell; a son, Charles Landvatter; a sister, Viola (Roy) Schreiber; a brother, Bernard Hafemann and two brothers-in-law, Lester (Florence) Landvatter, and Jack Graff.

Funeral services in remembrance of Bea will be held on Monday, November 8th at 1:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend. Rev. Darrin Wiebe of Our Savior's Lutheran Church will officiate and entombment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of the service.

Memorials to Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center are appreciated by the family.
