Beatrice "Bea" Muth, nee Ladwig, 92, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center, West Bend.
She was born on January 17, 1916 in Milwaukee to the late Walter and Hedwig (nee Radke) Ladwig. She married William "Bill" Muth on January 8, 1938 in Milwaukee. After Bill's retirement in 1976, the couple moved from Milwaukee to West Bend in 1977. They enjoyed spending summers at Crystal Lake, near Wautoma, for many years. Bill passed away on February 24, 1999.
Bea was very active in Job's Daughters and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed music, golf, cards, and spending time at Crystal Lake with family and friends.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Donald (Marilee) Muth of West Bend; two grandchildren, Christy (John) Lui of Dousman, and Greg (Janet) Muth of Northfield, MN; 5 great-grandchildren, TJ Lui, Ben Lui, Grace Muth, James Muth, and Margaret Muth; a niece, Carol Abraham of Germantown; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Ladwig.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11 at 5:00 p.m. at the Myrhum- Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
