Bernice C. Tuttle

Bernice C. Tuttle, 86, of the town of Farmington, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.


She was born on June 4, 1924, in Kewaskum, the daughter of the late William and Ella (Bassill) Gudex, and on October 10, 1964, she was united in marriage to Edward E. Tuttle at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in West Bend.


Bernice was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.


Those Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memory include a daughter, Kathy Tuttle of Kewaskum; three stepchildren, Marvin (Mary Ann) Tuttle of Eden, Dale (Shirley) Tuttle of West Bend and Janet (Kenneth) Schuman of Sun Prairie; six grandchildren, Daryl (Kim) Tuttle, Dale Skudlarczyk, Danny (Missy) Skudlarczyk, Shannon (Anthony) Bliesner, William Symicek and Joseph Symicek; three sisters-in-law, Janet Gudex of Campbellsport, Augusta “Mae” Engelmann of Fond du Lac and Lorena Tuttle of Beechwood; a brother-in-law, Francis (Pearl) Tuttle of Campbellsport; two great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.


In addition to her husband and parents, Bernice was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Skudlarczyk; a brother, Howard Gudex; a sister, Laverne Gudex and her former husband, Angelo Campagna.


Funeral services for Bernice were held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and entombment was at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.


Relatives and friends called at the church on Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of services.
