Bertha "Bea" Marie Kunesh

Bertha “Bea” Marie Kunesh (Popoutsis), age 75 years, of Milwaukee died September 15, 2023 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa surrounded by her loving family.

Bea was born on August 20, 1948 in Milwaukee to Peter and Mildred Popoutsis (Schmidl).  She was united in marriage to Dennis James Kunesh on November 16, 1974.

Bea graduated from Franklin High School in 1967.  She was primarily a domestic engineer with a background in food service and catering.  Bea enjoyed cooking, dancing, and music.  Most of all Bea loved spending time with her family.

Those Bea leaves behind to cherish her memory include three children, Mellissa (Don), Kimberly (Dan), and Stacey; ten grandchildren, Shauna, Paige, Harley, Ada, Simon, Lawrence, Sierra, Adrian, Aveya, and August; five great-grandchildren, Jayden, Damien, Liam, Monika, and Aspen; siblings, Nick (Paula), Judy, and Mark (Cheryl).

She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Kunesh; and her brother, George Popoutsis.

VISITATION:  Bea’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI  53095.

SERVICE:  A Funeral Service in remembrance of Bea will take place at the funeral home on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.

Memorials in Bea’s name can be directed to the American Diabetes Association .
