Bessie L. Janda, age 91, of Milwaukee, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2007 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on September 22, 1915 in Hayward to the late John and Julia (nee Hemmer) Janda. Bessie graduated from Hayward High School and then attended nursing school in Oconomowoc. After her schooling, Bessie became employed as an LPN for the Wisconsin Electric Company in Milwaukee, where she worked until her retirement.
She is survived by her brother and his wife, Robert & Mary Janda of Hartford. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters.
Memorial services and burial of Bessie's cremated remains in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward will be held at a later date in spring.
