Betty Jane Ehley, (nee Eicher) age 81, of West Bend, entered eternal life on Monday June 1, 2015 at Cedar Lake Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on September 29, 1933 in the Town of Barton to the late Nicholas and Marcella (nee Schmidt) Eicher and moved with her family to West Allis at an early age. Betty was a graduate of Juneau High School.
On May 19, 1952 Betty was united in marriage to Harry Ehley at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Together they made their home in Milwaukee until moving to West Bend in 1978. Betty was a former employee of West Bend Mutual Insurance Company. She is survived by three children, Chris (Robert) Jakubowski of Palatine, IL, Harry (Roger) Ehley of Tucson, AZ, and Susan Polze of West Bend; five grandchildren, Joseph (Corey) Turcotte, Michael (Amanda) Polze, Brittany (Steve Roeglin) Polze, Jeffrey (Tammy) Jakubowski, and Robert Jakubowski; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey Turcotte, Aiden Polze, Samantha Jakubowski, and Kayla Jakubowski; a sister-in-law, Carol Eicher; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Harry Ehley in 1986; a brother, Donald Eicher; and her son-in-law, Gene Polze.
A memorial Mass in remembrance of Betty will be held on Saturday June 27th at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Parish (406 Jefferson St.) West Bend. Rev. Enrique Hernandez will be the celebrant. A reception at the church will follow. Burial of Betty's cremated remains will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
