Beverly J. Dettmann, 84, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
She was born on April 18, 1928, in Viroqua, the daughter of the late Martin E. and Valda (Graham) Rusdal, and in 1948 she was united in marriage to Karl F. Dettmann. Karl preceded Beverly in death in 1970.
Beverly was a graduate of Wisconsin State University-Stout. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison.
Those Beverly leaves behind to cherish her memory include five children, David A. (Jenee) Dettmann of Bettendorf, Iowa, Marc J. (Mary) Dettmann of Charlottesville, Virginia, Scott M. (Lisa) Dettmann of Sussex, Yvonne K. Kloehn of Medham, New Jersey and Paul E. Dettmann of Havre, Montana; her twin sisters, Eloise Rust of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Elaine Parr of Viroqua, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Beverly were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, 2013, at New Horizon United Church of Christ in the town of Farmington. Rev. David Schlieter officiated and burial followed the service in Boltonville Union Cemetery in the town of Farmington.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.
