Beverly Rose Garbisch

January 30, 1936 — January 10, 2009

Beverly Rose Garbisch, 72, of Random Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon.


She was born on January 30, 1936, in the town of Scott, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Voigt) Kumrow. She was a 1954 graduate of Kewaskum High School, and on May 4, 1957, she was united in marriage to Charles H. Garbisch at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott.


Beverly was a devoted wife of Charles, her husband of 51 years, and a loving mother to her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included Bible study, writing and drawing. She was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Evening Guild.

Beverly will fondly be remembered acting as Charles co-pilot on their many great adventures and will be deeply missed by her husband, her family and by all who knew her.


Survivors include her loving husband, Charles; five children, Todd Garbisch of Kewaskum, Terry (Kim) Garbisch of Campbellsport, David (Jean) Garbisch of Random Lake, Doreen (Curtis) Frederick of Belguim and Darcie (David) Eggert of Random Lake; 13 grandchildren, Jenny (Dillon), Dana, Nick (Kate), Eric, Andrew, Kayla, Michael, Mitchel (Samantha), Deanna, Troy, Travis, Trevor and Tara; a sister, Alice Reiser of Hartford; two brothers, Roger (Virginia) Kumrow of town of Scott and Russell Kumrow of Oakfield; her mother-in-law, Malinda Garbisch of Plymouth; a sister-in-law, Gloria Kumrow of West Bend, other relatives and many friends.


Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ronald Kumrow; her father-in-law, Raymond Garbisch and a brother-in-law, John Reiser.


Funeral services for Beverly were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott. Rev. Kurt Ziemann officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.


Relatives and friends called on Wednesday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
