Beverly M. Schmidt

April 15, 1938 — September 28, 2006

Beverly M. Schmidt, 68, of the town of Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at The Wisconsin Heart Hospital in Wauwatosa.


She was born on April 15, 1938 in Eden, the daughter of the late Justin and Mabel (Mayer) Winters, and on June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to Wilmer Schmidt at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum.


Beverly was employed as a cook at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend and by Johnson School Bus in Kewaskum until her illness.


Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Wilmer; three children, John Schmidt and Sharon (Jeff) Shaw both of Kewaskum and Mary (Bruce) Bauer of Campbellsport; a sister, Judith (David) Smith of Eldorado; a brother, Charles Winters of Ripon; eight grandchildren, Julia, Jeffrey II, Jamey, Shelly, Ambre, Breanna, Maranda and Brian; dear friends, David (Gina) Young and their sons, Tyler and Kyle of Campbellsport, other relatives and friends.


Beverly was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Arnold and Eleanore Schmidt.

Funeral services for Beverly were held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. David Stone officiated and cremation followed.


Relatives and friends called on Saturday at the funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until the time of services.
