Bonita M. Koeberl (nee Washburn), age 89 years, of Brownsville passed away on February 5, 2022 at Hope Health and Rehab in Lomira surrounded by her loving family.
Bonita was born on June 25, 1932 in Granton to Elmer and Pearl Washburn (nee Rose). She was the step-daughter of Loren E. Axelsen.
Bonita graduated from Marshfield Senior High School in 1950, and on August 12, 1950 she was united in marriage to Joseph G. Koeberl.
Those Bonita leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Cynthia (the late Paul) Neist, Paul (Rose) Koeberl, Doreen (Don) Gatzow, and Kevin (Lori) Koeberl; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, She is further survived by half-brother, Ronald (Marge) Axelsen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents Bonita was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Koeberl; son, Gregory Paul Koeberl; sister, Pearl Rose (William) Birge; step-father, Loren E. Axelsen, and half-brother, Dennis Axelsen.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Bonita will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Marshfield, Wisconsin.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hope Health and Rehab in Lomira and SSM Hospice Hope in Fond du Lac for their care and compassion.
