Brian L. Miller, age 51, of Newburg, WI, formerly of Aurora, IL, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on September 1, 1960 at the 81st Tactical Hospital in Suffolk, England, to Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Hale and Air Force Captain Eleanor (nee Fitzsimmons) Miller. As a child, Brian's family moved extensively to a variety of places including Japan and Texas before finally settling in Wausau, WI. Brian graduated from Wausau East High School in the class of 1978 and went on to attend Milwaukee Area Technical College earning a diploma degree in urban forestry in 1982. Brian then attended Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton in the conservation program earning an associate degree in forestry and outdoor recreation and soils in 1984. Over the years, he held many landscaping and retail management positions. Brian loved being outside caring for his yard and landscaping. He was a Christian, an avid movie watcher, and a huge packer fan.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lauren and Kendal Ann Miller; his brother, Hale (Sharli) Miller; his sister-in-law, Donna Miller; his friend and former wife, Lynn Breckenfelder Miller; his niece, Victoria Miller; and other relatives and friends.
Brian is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles Miller; and his aunt and uncle, Margery and Victor Berti.
In honor of Brian's wishes, a private family memorial service will be held at a later date and burial of his cremated remains will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park in Wausau.
