Brian J. "Grasshopper" Schweizer, 35, of Newburg, began his new journey on Wednesday, November 16, 2011.

He was born on January 1, 1976 in West Bend. Brian spent his childhood in Casper, WY and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School. Brian was three-time Wyoming State Wrestling Champion and also placed second in the Grand National Championships.

Brian was employed as the business manager at Road Track & Trail in Big Bend and had also worked at Gordie Boucher in West Bend.

Brian loved spending time with his son, Mason and his loving special soul-mate, Rebecca, and always making sure Mama was OK. He loved going on dates with Rebecca and Julie to the movies and doing "the walk of shame." He loved bike trips on his Harley with his friends, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Green Bay Packers and fantasy football, and last but not least, signing in his three favorite girls at Buzz's and winning.

He is survived by his beloved son and the joy of his life, Mason Grant; his soul-mate and best friend, Rebecca "BB" Minor and her children, Angie, James, and Alyssa; Mason's mother, Sherry Brockman and Mason's brother, Tyler; his parents, Joan Wilke and Todd (Helen) Schweizer; a sister, Julie Mesa; a niece, Brittany Mesa; a nephew, Tylar Mesa; his grandparents, Grammie Jo Wilke and Paul (Sandy) Hetebrueg; his aunts and uncles, Jean (Ken) Strupp, Paul (Barb) Wilke, Pam (Carl) Eisen, Patti Jo (Tim) Heinen, Scott (Pat) Schweizer, Jody (Sue) Bender, Tracy (Michelle) Hetebrueg; numerous cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Brian is united in Heaven with his grandfather, Paul "Poppa" Wilke, and great-grandparents, Elmer (Marie) Holford, John (Lorena) Kell.

A celebration of Brian's life will be held on Tuesday, November 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for Mason's college fund would be appreciated.
