Brian J. Brendemihl, 48, of Kewaskum, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, while at The Kathy Hospice, with his family at his side.

Brian was born Oct. 21, 1966, in West Bend, the son of Arthur Jr. and Patricia (Butler) Brendemihl.

Brian attended Kewaskum schools and graduated in the class of ’85. Brian also attended Fond du Lac Moraine Park Technical Institute to be a computer technician.

He was a man of many interests and hobbies, some of which were camping, ham radio, scuba diving, Jeep four-wheeling, truck driving, sailing, snowmobiling, canoeing, shooting and, most of all, working with small engines.

He worked at many places, but his pride and joy was the work he has done at Erin Hills Golf Course.

Those Brian leaves behind to cherish his memory include his mother, Patricia Brendemihl; three brothers, Steven (Val) of Spokane, Washington, Scott (Deborah) of Greenfield, and Bruce (Jean) of West Bend; three sisters, Debra (David) Batt of Kewaskum, Diane (Donald) Heesen of Allenton, and Paula (Joseph) Hoerig of Kewaskum; nine nieces and nephews; one greatniece; and many other relatives and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Brendemihl Jr.; paternal grandparents, Arthur Sr. and Marie Brendemihl; and maternal grandparents, Albin and Irona Butler.

Miller Funeral Home is assisting the family.

The family would like to share a celebration of Brian’s life at The Annex in Kewaskum (1308 Fond du Lac Ave.) from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, to share your memories of Brian.

Special thanks to Erin and co-workers at Heartland Hospice, the workers at The Kathy Hospice, Dr. Hari, Mary and the workers at Froedert Cancer Unit.

Special thanks to Zach Reineking, John Jacques and Greg from Erin Hills Golf Course for all their help.
