Caitlin M. Schilke, age 14, was welcomed into heaven through the arms of angels on Monday, May 6, 2013.
She was born on October 30, 1998 at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls to Greg and Tammy (nee Wiesner) Schilke. Caitlin attended Addison Elementary and Slinger High Schools. She enjoyed watching the Disney Channel and was granted her wish to visit Disney World by the Make a Wish Foundation. She enjoyed listening to music, being outside, and hanging out with her big sister.
Caitlin is survived by her mother, Tammy Schilke; her father, Greg Schilke; sister, Jennifer Schilke; paternal grandparents, Vicki (Chuck) Rohde and Arlen (Jill) Schilke; maternal grandparents, Jack (Charlene) Wiesner; maternal aunt, Kim Wiesner; paternal aunts and uncles, Krissy Cornelius, Eric Rohde, Chris (Kathy) Rohde, Brad Rohde, and Heidi (Matt) Joynt; other relatives and friends.
A funeral service in remembrance of Caitlin will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 7:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend with Rev. John Bass of Cedar Springs Church officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 am in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
The family would like to thank the special caregivers who have cared for Caitlin throughout her life.
