Carla C. Ader, nee Tanck, age 61, of the Town of Fillmore, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2005 at the Sunny Ridge health care center in Sheboygan.
She was born on November 15, 1943 to the late Alfred and Violet (nee Grosklaus) Tanck. She grew up in the Town of Fillmore and attended Fillmore Grade School. Carla attended Kewaskum High School and graduated in 1961. Following her high school graduation she took a job at Amity Leather as an assemblyperson.
She was united in holy matrimony to Frank Ader on June 15, 1963 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fredonia. Shortly after her marriage she left Amity and became a full-time mother of three. When her kids where older she began working at the Samaritan Health Center as an aid. In 1977 she began a new job at Serigraph as an inspector where she was currently employed.
When she was not working Carla enjoyed cooking and sewing, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sons, Rev. Kevin (Susan) Ader of Bessemer, MI, Scott Ader of the town of Farmington, and Chad Ader of the town of Farmington; six grandchildren, Jason and Lauren Ader, Dan (Nichole), Sarah, Joline, and Caleb Nordhaugen; a sister, Carol (Robert) Stib of Plymouth; a brother, Marvin (Adrianna) Tanck of Jupiter, FL; an aunt, Esther Frohmann of West Bend; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fredonia. Visitation will be at the Myrhum-Patten funeral home in West Bend on Friday, Aug. 5 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow the funeral in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
