Carmen F. Kempf, 62, of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his residence.
He was born January 20, 1948 in West Bend to Edwin and Edna (nee Roehl) Kempf. He was employed at the Gehl Company for many years and he was also a truck driver for Hanke Trucking. He enjoyed the outdoors and deer hunting.
He is survived by his daughter, Elaine Kempf of West Bend; a granddaughter, Holly Elizabeth Kempf of West Bend; his mother, Edna Kempf of West Bend; his sister, Karen Butzlaff of Harshaw; a niece Laurie (Jason) DeMeyer of Harshaw; three nephews, Randall Butzlaff of Campbellsport, Timothy Butzlaff of Harshaw, and Bruce (Jill) Butzlaff of Rhinelander; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Kempf, and his brother-in-law, Lloyd Butzlaff.
A memorial service in remembrance of Carmen will be held on Saturday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. The family will greet visitors at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
