Carol R. Bauer, (nee Juech), age 58, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday April 22, 2008 at All About Life Rehabilitation Center in Fond du Lac.
She was born in West Bend on November 16, 1949 to the late Marvin and Beatrice (nee Diels) Juech.
Carol graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1967. She then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Occupational Therapy. She returned to West Bend and worked as an occupational therapist at the Samaritan Health Center until her disability.
She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, CUB (citizens utility board), and a board member of Citizens Advocacy of Washington County.
Carol is survived by two sons, Christopher Bauer, and Nicholas (Britney) Bauer, both of West Bend; four grandchildren, Dylan Bauer, Carson Bauer, Micaela Taetsch, and Gabrielle Mercier; a sister Christine (Larry) Dray of Beloit; a brother, Thomas (Linda) Juech of West Bend; special friends, Minn Nokes, Mary Hron, and Gloria & Don Dengel; her three dogs, Harley, Mindy, and Taylor; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services in remembrance of Carol will be held on Saturday April 26th at 2:00 pm at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. George Mumm will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday at the church only from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or St. John's Church are appreciated.
