Carol L. Gay, age 73 of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.
She was born December 16, 1938 in Dayton, OH to John and Irene (nee Blazer) Gay. In 1970, she moved to West Bend.
Carol worked in the accounting office at West Bend Company. She was the former facilitator for the Washington County MS Society and a member of Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her two sisters, Rosemary Shook of Xenia, OH and Phyllis Stall of West Milton, OH; sister-in-law, Violet Gay of Kentucky; brother-in-law, Wally (Ginny) Voigt of Newburg; twelve nieces and nephews, Gary (Norma) Shook, Gayle (Linda) Shook, Diane (Jim) Shackleford, Melissa Chapman, Joette Chapman, John (Tina) Gay, Melvin (Kim) Gay, Chuck Stall, Greg (Jamie) Stall, Paul (Lisa) Voigt, Beth (Jon) Behnke, and Krista (Barry) Preston; many great-nieces and great-nephews; her dear friend, Patricia Hill of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rose (Carl) Chapman and Vera Voigt; one brother, Robert Gay; two brothers-in-law, George Stall and Harley Shook; and her nephew, Ronald Chapman.
A graveside service in remembrance of Carol will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery in Newburg. Rev. Jon Baumann and Rev. Robert Hein will co-officiate.
