Carol Ann (Buda) Hecker

Carol A. Hecker (nee Buda), 78, of Kewaskum passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born on April 6, 1944, to the late Anthony and Margaret (nee Owens) Buda in Milwaukee, WI. On February 13, 1969, she was united in marriage to Roger Hecker. Carol loved playing the slots at the casino. She enjoyed going to flea markets, auctions, and gardening. Carol especially enjoyed spending time with her family and great-grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Carol leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Roger; two children, Shawn Murre and Frederick Davis Jr.; five grandchildren, Alina (Jose) Moreno, Steven (Elli) Carter, Danny Murray, Adam Murray, and Alex Nieto; seven great-grandchildren, Avdrina, Janya, Jose Jr., Miquel Jr., Micah, Mya, and Iaasac; a sister, Shirley Merrell; two brothers, Kenneth Buda, and Robert Buda; good friends, Frannie Seefeldt, Mary Wenzlaff, Lisa Wolford, Sharon (Dell) Ellefson, Darlene (Dell) Kohn, and neighbors Marne and Donny; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Buda; brother-in-law, Richard Merrell; and sister-in-law, Carol Buda.

Per Carol’s wishes, no service will be held.
