Hickey, Carol H. (nee Buerger) died peacefully on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at the age of 96 at the Cedar Lake Health Care in West Bend. Carol was born August 11, 1911, in Wittenberg, WI.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Alvin L. Hickey. She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Catherine Buerger of West Bend, Evelyn Fosmark of Fort Meyers FL, and Verna Delicate of Lake Lure NC; her niece, Mary Prod; and her nephews, Gene, Gordon, and Peter Hickey, and David, and Roger Koehn.
A memorial service in honor of Carol will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church (462 Meadowbrook Dr. West Bend, WI 53095). Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee. Memorials to Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church or to Milwaukee Lutheran High School would be greatly appreciated by the family.
