Carol A. Wesenberg, 51, of Kewaskum, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009, at Kathy Hospice in the town of Polk after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on May 10, 1958, in West Bend, the daughter of Eugene and Norma (Schulz) Muench, and on August 25, 1979, she was united in marriage to Dennis Wesenberg at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Her husband preceded her in death on September 1, 2004.
Carol had been employed by Regal Ware, Inc. in Kewaskum since 1976 and was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Carol was a devoted mother, a loving daughter, a cherished sister and aunt, and a dear friend to many. She will be deeply missed by her son, her family and by all who knew her.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory include her son, Kyle at home; her parents, Eugene and Norma Muench of Kewaskum; three brothers, Al (Jane) Muench of Random Lake, Steve (Tracy) Muench of Campbellsport and Scott (Karen) Muench of Kewaskum; a sister, Sandra (Marty) Chesak of West Bend; her mother-in-law, Francelia Wesenberg of West Bend; a sister-in-law, Margaret Krzewina of Campbellsport; five nieces, Erica Chesak, Sarah, Lindsay, Alyssa and Nicole Muench; a nephew, Jared Chesak, her co-workers, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Robert Wesenberg and a brother-in-law, Gordy Krzewina.
Funeral services for Carol were held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
