Carole E. Dreher (nee Loberger), 68, of the Town of Auburn, Fond du Lac County, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, in Daytona Beach, Florida, while vacationing.
She was born on September 17, 1942, in Stephenson, Michigan, to Victor and Signe (nee Gustafson) Loberger.
Carole graduated from West Bend High School in 1960 and received her Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Marian University of Fond du Lac on May 14, 1988.
On October 28, 1967, she married Richard M. Dreher of Kewaskum and together they reared two children, Joann and Richard. She retired from Regal Ware of Kewaskum, at which time she was the Human Resource Director. Carole enjoyed raising flowers and plants, traveling, being with friends and relatives, but more than anything, she enjoyed caring for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; her daughter, Joann (Rodney) Schultz of West Bend and their daughters, Theresa, Rebecca and Megan; her son, Richard (Becky Davis) of West Bend and their daughter, Emilie. She is further survived by three brothers, Gordon (Ethelyn) of Murray, Kentucky; Myron (Deanna) of Appleton; Victor of West Bend, other relatives and friends.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Elden (Eldoris) and Dennis (Diane).
Funeral services in remembrance of Carole were held on Tuesday, April 12, at 6:00 p.m., at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 809 S. Sixth Avenue, West Bend with Rev. Jerry Preshun and Rev. Diane Loberger officiating. A time of visitation was at the church on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.
