Caroline Wodsedalek

March 5, 1957 — June 2, 2009

Caroline M. Wodsedalek (nee Peters), age 52, of West Bend passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at her residence.

She was born on March 5, 1957 in West Bend to the late Robert and Marie (nee Van Beek) Peters and she graduated from West Bend West High School. She was united in marriage to Darrell Wodsedalek on May 4, 1991.

Caroline worked as a CNA at the Samaritan Health Center and Cedar Lake Health Care Center in West Bend and also at the Senior Home in Allenton. Caroline loved to help others and she enjoyed making donations to the St. Vincent and de Paul Society and the Full Shelf Food Pantry. She also enjoyed cooking and baking especially for family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Darrell; a daughter, Katie (Todd) Carlson of West Bend; two step-children, Thomas and Jennifer Wodsedalek of West Bend; her "adopted daughter" Leslie Beistle of West Bend ; four sisters, Ruth (Joe) Santoro of Kewaskum, Geri (Bob) Schladweiler of West Bend, Marilyn (Rick) Schulze of Sheboygan, and Chris (Dean) Udovich of Sheboygan Falls; a brother, Bob (Carol) Peters of West Bend; her parents-in-law, Wayne and Marge Wodsedalek of Kewaunee; four sisters-in-law, Patricia (Curt) Clark of Beaver Dam, Marla (Jeff) Frye of Madison, Marlene Alexander of Fond du Lac, and Monica Arendt of Green Bay; three brothers-in-law, Dale (Linda) Wodsedalek of Fond du Lac, Darrain (Sue) Wodsedalek of West Bend, and Dallas (Tracy) Wodsedalek of West Bend; an uncle, Frederick (Shirley) Peters of Hartford; her Special Friends, Ann and Robert Steilen of West Bend; her pet and special companion, Jack; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Joseph Peters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 1:30 PM at Holy Angeles Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave., West Bend). Rev. Gerald Brittain will officiate and burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:30 AM until the time of mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial to the American Diabetes Association or the Full Shelf Food Pantry would be appreciated.
