Carol P. Jobelius, 95, of Appleton, passed away peacefully February 1, 2022 at Agrace Hospice in Janesville. She was born March 31, 1926 in Green Bay, WI, the daughter of the late Henry Jobelius and Catherine Nooyen.
After graduating from Appleton High School, Carol worked at Kimberly Clark in one of the clerical areas. She was a long-time member of St. Therese Catholic Church.
Carol always took very good care of herself-exercising and eating healthy foods. She earned, and liked her nick-name “Carol-esterol.” Despite not driving, Carol was independent most of her life. She could often be seen taking the bus around Appleton. She was a shopper – not always buying, but always looking.
Carol leaves behind her step-sister Doris (John) Skotzke and many nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sisters Marion (Jack) Puffer and Yvonne (Bud) Inglis, her brother Jim (Gail) Jobelius, her stepmother Alma (Nooyen) Jobelius, and step-brothers Roger (Gail) Nooyen, Gene (Carol) Nooyen, Thom (Julie) Nooyen and Matt (June) Nooyen.
A funeral Mass for Carol will be held at 11am Saturday February 26 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton with Father Ryan Starks officiating. Visitation will be held at Church from 10am until the time of the Mass.
A special thanks to everyone at Four Winds Manor in Verona, who loved and cared for Carol these last six years. Thanks also for the loving care by Agrace Hospice in her final days.
The Myrhum Patten Funeral and Cremation Service will handle the arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
