Carrol A. Reid, nee Boettcher, 80, of West Bend, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
She was born June 17, 1930 in Milwaukee to the late Walter and Anna (nee Rummel) Boettcher. She married Clifford Reid on August 19, 1950 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Clifford passed away January 10, 2004.
Carrol is survived by five children, John (Beth) Reid of West Bend, Donald (Camille) Reid of Big Bend, Wendy (Jeff) Miller of Menasha, Gayle (David) Conradson of West Bend, and Tammy (Peter) Schlefke of West Bend; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Boettcher of Brookfield; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" Boettcher of Milwaukee; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Mark Reid, a brother, Wallace Boettcher, and a sister-in-law, MaryAnn Boettcher.
A funeral service in remembrance of Carrol will be held on Friday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
