Charleen Marie Erler (nee Bremser), age 78, of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2006.
She was born in Batavia, Wisconsin on April 1, 1928, to the late Ernst and Marie (nee Meisner) Bremser. Charleen was raised in Random Lake and graduated from West Bend High School in 1945. She met her future husband, Robert Erler, in West Bend. They were united in marriage on October 4, 1947. God blessed their marriage with four children, R. Charles, James, Scott, and Mark. Charleen and her husband moved to the Fort Myers area in 1989.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; her three sons, James, Scott, and Mark; her two daughters-in-law, Mary Erler of Mauston, WI and Erica Erler of Edmond, OK; her three grandsons, Joseph, Christopher, and Matthew, and her three great-grandchildren, Travis, Dylan, and Nicholas. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Chuck.
Funeral services in honor of Charleen will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006, at 4:00 pm, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend with Rev. Robert Hoehner officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park on Saturday, June 3 at 10:00 am.
