Charles David Dodge

October 2, 1941 — December 2, 2024

On Monday, December 2, 2024, Charles David Dodge passed away unexpectedly at his home in West Bend.

Born 83 years ago on October 2, 1941, Charles was the son of the late Charles Edward and Jeannette (nee Pecor) Dodge. He graduated from high school, and immediately enlisted with the US Army where he served his country honorably from 1959 until 1964. After completing his military service, Charles began his career with Arco Chemical out of Milwaukee.

Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his love for the outdoors, Charles was a constant and steady figure in the lives of his family and friends. His steadfast presence and loyalty knew no bounds. He consistently supported his grandchildren by driving many hours to cheer loudly at their volleyball matches and basketball games. Whether it was lending his support, giving timely advice, or just sharing a laugh, Charles never shied away from having conversations and spending time with his two sons, grandchildren, or friends at Meadowbrook Manor. Charles was consistently present. He loved fiercely, cared deeply for his family, and will always be remembered.

He leaves behind his two sons, Charles (Julie) Dodge of Allenton, and David (Linda) Dodge of East Troy to carry on his legacy; three grandchildren, Samuel Dodge (Emma Decleene), Nathan (Alyssa) Dodge, Mary (Sam) Hauser; great grandchild, Theodore Hauser; relatives and friends.
